The new season will start on September 23 at Bird Bowl with a standard 5-game singles handicap tournament with an optional scratch prize fund. The tournament will guarantee a minimum first prize (handicap) of $400. Sign-up will end at 11:00 a.m. Practice will start at 11:15 a.m. Scoring will start at 11:30 a.m. Averages will be based on your 2006-2007 yearbook average, but be aware that your 2006-2007 DCAS tournament average (of at least 6 games) will also be a factor. Be sure to review the tournament rules on the flyer on the web site. Due to an increase in the lineage being charged, entry fees have increased by $5.00.

Match Finals Results
The top 20 bowlers after the first cut (4 qualifying games) were placed into 2 divisions (A & B), based on qualifying totals, evenly balancing each of the divisions by qualifying scores. Two more games were bowled, after which there was a second cut to the top 5 bowlers in each division, based on the second round 2 game total. The top 5 in each division competed in a stepladder final. Seedings for placement in the stepladder were based on the 8 game overall total tournament pinfall plus handicap. The winners from the 2 stepladder final matches then bowled a match to determine the champion.
