FINALS RESULTS
The top 19 bowlers after the first cut (4 qualifying games) were placed into 2 divisions (A & B), based on qualifying totals, evenly balancing each of the divisions by qualifying scores. Two more games were bowled, after which there was a second cut. The top 8 bowlers in each division from the second cut advanced to bowl a 2-game match against an opponent in their division. The match opponents were determined by seeding formula (matching high against low, second high against second low, etc). Winners from the each 2-game match advanced to stepladder finals. Seedings for match and stepladder rounds are based on the overall pinfall (plus handicap) for all of the games bowled by that time.

The new season will start on September 28 at Homestead Bowling Center with a standard singles handicap tournament with an optional scratch prize fund. Paddock time will be at 10:30 a.m., and bowling time will be at 11:00 a.m. Averages will be based on 2002-2003 yearbook. Please be aware, however, that there will be an "Average Review Committee" that will have the authority to re-rate any bowler higher than their yearbook average, prior to bowling, if there is sufficient cause based on tournament history.

Membership forms have been sent to everyone, and please join or renew by September 28 in order to save some money on your membership dues. If you wish, you may pay your 2003-2004 membership dues at the September 28 tournament.

Note: Gold members from this past season will have their unredeemed bracket points carried forward to the new season. You may redeem each100 points for a free bracket, but you can only redeem for 2 brackets at any one tournament. However, you will need to renew your membership as a gold member for this benefit. As a reminder, Gold members automatically receive 100 bracket points when joining as a gold member, and all tournament points are put toward the free bracket redemptions. If you haven’t been a gold member in the past, consider joining as one. The free brackets that are available themselves is more than worth the extra gold dues.
