Next Tournament Flyer and Information

The organization known as the Dade County All Stars was formed over 40 years ago to meet the tournament needs of the Miami-Dade and Broward bowling community. There is an active Board of Directors that oversees the format and location of the monthly tournaments as well as the ongoing administration of the membership. The monthly tournaments are held at Bird Bowl.

The tournaments vary from singles to doubles. The events are 5-games of bowling before qualifying rounds are determined. While some events are based on total pins, some use a head-to-head format awarding bonus pins for each win. The tournaments have a maximum of 40 pins handicap per game. The handicap is based on 90% of 230. Each tournament pays 1 out of every 3 participating bowlers. The bowlers have the opportunity to also participate in scratch or handicap brackets at $5 per bracket. Sponsorships for each tournament will be solicited from among the membership with the intention of increasing the tournament's prize payoffs.

At the end of this page, you will find an entry reservation form.  Just select which tournament you would like to bowl in, enter your personal information, and click on the submit button to send your reservation via e-mail to the tournament secretary.

Each handicap tournament will be based on rules developed by the tournament committee for the particular tournament.
